At the “Together” workshop, we will explore our emotions through movement in a safe space using the 5Rhythms practice—as individuals while also becoming aware of how we feel within a group. We will focus on how trust, openness, and collaboration emerge—how a group becomes a community. We will give ourselves the chance to experience connection through the 5Rhythms (flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical, and stillness). Intergenerational cooperation and waves of live and recorded music will carry us through many layers of connection between place, music, and people.
The 5Rhythms® dance is a dynamic movement meditation, a philosophy, a worldview, and an art form created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands of dancers worldwide. It is a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself. The 5Rhythms® dance requires no previous experience or special preparation. Bring your heart and your willingness to move. All ages, beginners, those with no previous dance experience, and seasoned dancers are welcome.
You’ll want to bring several layers of light clothing for dancing and a water bottle. This dance can get quite sweaty, so having your own towel will be useful. A blanket or a mat may also come in handy. We dance barefoot, in socks, or in light dance shoes.

About the facilitators:
Miša Trizuljaková is a rebel and seeker from the hippie generation. She is a multifaceted visual artist (textile, paper, installations, artistic clothing, theatrical costumes), storyteller, and reiki master. She also worked as a teacher and head of the fashion art department at a secondary art school. In 2016, at a mature age, she discovered 5Rhythms®. This dynamic movement practice immediately captivated her, and she began searching for all possible and impossible ways to bring it to Slovakia. In 2018, she earned her “5Rhythms® Spaceholder” accreditation, and in 2024, she completed her training as an accredited 5Rhythms® teacher under J. A. Horan. For her, 5Rhythms® is relaxation, meditation, and a spiritual path. She loves bringing 5Rhythms music to people—it’s her new life passion. She is currently the only one in Slovakia offering this practice where we can find freedom in movement, release, and perhaps… something more. Come and try it! Miša organizes open sessions and workshops with 5Rhythms teachers from abroad and various special 5Rhythms events. More about 5Rhythms® dance at: www.trizi.net
Dominika Belanská is a social architect, artist, and facilitator. Through various forms, she connects people with the places they live in and involves them in collective creation. Dominika is from Prievidza, but spent a significant part of her life in Bratislava, where she studied architectural design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, and later collaborated on various initiatives in community development and public space both locally and internationally. During the pandemic, she returned to Upper Nitra. Here, she focuses on restoring the environment and cultural roots, for example through the ‘Nové sídlisko’ initiative for protecting local cultural heritage, the environmental research project ‘Brownfields & Orchards,’ and the dance-ecology project ‘The River in Us.’ She is currently preparing her debut music album titled HONEY. In Trenčín, she connects people across generations as co-curator of the international project Generations Together, which includes the spring workshop “Together.” More about Dominika at www.belanska.art
